It features the first Usability Lab in the Kingdom. The Uxbert Usability Lab is equipped with state of the art technologies like eye tracking research devices and industry leading usability research software to bring the Saudi ecommerce and online market and entrepreneurs a facility where they can focus on user research, evaluation and user testing of all their web and mobile applications and services across various devices and browsers.

The team consists of certified usability and user experience professionals that spend their days creating in-house Uxbert products, researching, consulting and training companies and entrepreneurs for their products.

Uxbert is also a startup accelerator that provides entrepreneurs with start up capital, resources and lean UX and MVP business expertise to test, validate and present their ideas and get their startups off the ground.

Key Responsibilities

The UX Manager leads the compelling and creative experiences that strike a balance between the consumers’ intent and the business’s needs. The UX Manager plays the strategic role of aligning the product’s roadmap with consumer/market needs, hereby, creating balanced and elegant product solutions amidst constraints in the product’s technical framework.

The role of UX Manager is both a hands-on and strategic role that demands that its occupier have a solid background in the conceptualizing, designing, and creating first-class product experiences for the product’s consumers.

Although the core focus of the UX Manager is the facilitation of product experience creation, he also assists in the ground product marketing and product advocacy guiding the consumers through the product experience and leading them to all of the product’s key usability points, hence, optimizing the consumers’ experience as a whole.

Requirements

  • Degree in related field (HCI, graphic interative or communication design)
  • Prior experience using Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience in managing, ideally in an international/global environment
  • A minimum of 5 years of UX experience working on established, heavily trafficked, B2B/B2C web experiences.
  • Experience participating and conducting usability testing as well as documentation and presentation of testing results including gathering and documenting business, interaction and functional requirements.
  • Experience in using tools for: creative, accessibility evaluation, rapid prototyping, project management, web architecture, presentation, web analytics among others.
